Are you in charge of planning the hen weekend? It can be tricky to keep everyone happy and make sure everyone feels included. We’ve got some great hen party ideas whether you are planning a low-key hen weekend or a wild night out.
Empress Hall is the type of self-contained holiday property you won’t want to leave. It’s got 10 uniquely styled bedrooms and an entertainment suite complete with an in-house cinema, an arcade, a karaoke machine, and a “Love Island” inspired garden. You’ll find plenty to do here.

Catching up with the girls al-fresco is a pleasure in our bright, sunny garden. There’s plenty of space for everyone to sit with cocktails and nibbles.

Speaking of cocktails, your staycation package comes complete with a cocktail mixing kit, so you can make your own classy drinks at the in-house bar.
Butler in the buff
Want someone to make the cocktails for you? Butlers with Bums will send you your very own buff butler to wait on you hand and foot.
Private chef
Don’t fancy cooking? Get your hen party catering covered by hiring a private chef. Take a Chef will come to Empress Hall. Tell them what you want and they will cook you and your friends a delicious meal in our beautiful kitchen, and even do the washing up!
Girlie Pamper Party
Indulge yourself and relax with a special pamper treatment from Serenity Pamper Parties who will send an experienced therapist out to Empress Hall. Will it be a manicure, pedicure, facial, or massage? Perhaps all of them!
Even bring in MUAs before an amazing night on the town
Hit the clubs looking your best by hiring a mobile make up artist to give you a salon-quality makeover, whilst you relax, listen to music and get ready. Blys will send their best MUAs to Empress Hall to glam you up.
When it’s party time:
Get the sash, tiara, and inflatable willy ready and head out to one of these places!
This cocktail bar in Blackpool is always a lot of fun, with a large range of glamorous cocktails and great music.
Blackpool Mile is where you’ll find most of Blackpool’s nightlife happening. Take a stroll and see which bars and nightclubs take your fancy.
This venue is perfect for a hen night with its 90s decor and chart-topping tunes. You can even book your own VIP booth or buy a special hen night package with fun props and drinks bundles.
And when you're recovering the next day? Empress Hall has comfy beds, a coffee machine, and an extensive kitchen for cooking breakfast in the morning. Blackpool beach and promenade are 2 minutes away, and make a great walk to blow away the cobwebs.
